Zac Brown named godfather of Margaritaville at Sea’s Beachcomber
The Grammy-winning artist is scheduled to christen the cruise line’s largest ship in Miami in January 2027.

Margaritaville at Sea has named multi-platinum artist and three-time Grammy Award winner Zac Brown as godfather of Beachcomber, the newest addition to its Caribbean fleet and its largest ship to date.
Brown is scheduled to christen Beachcomber in Miami on Jan. 9, 2027. He will also perform aboard the ship during its inaugural celebration before it departs on its first sailing.
The artist collaborated with the cruise line on Same Boat, a new live music venue aboard Beachcomber. The space is planned to host a rotating lineup of performers during the ship’s inaugural season.
Beachcomber, Islander and Paradise are scheduled to gather in Nassau on Jan. 28, marking the first time all three Margaritaville at Sea ships will come together. Brown is slated to headline a concert in Nassau as part of the event.
Following its January launch from PortMiami, Beachcomber is planned to sail four- to eight-night Eastern and Southern Caribbean itineraries during its inaugural season. The ship is scheduled to reposition to Galveston in October 2027, offering Mexico and Western Caribbean cruises from Texas.
