Favorites & Preferences

We store the sailings you favorite and any roommate matching preferences you set (such as age range, gender, and sailing interests). This data is used solely to power the features you opted into.

Usage Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and feature interactions. Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Session Data

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is essential to the operation of the Service and is not used for tracking or advertising.

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in a secure environment. We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and hashed passwords. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information and associated data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
