Zac Brown named godfather of Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber
The musician will perform at the ship’s PortMiami naming celebration and later headline a concert during the cruise line’s first fleet gathering.

Margaritaville at Sea has named Zac Brown godfather of Beachcomber, with the multi-platinum artist and three-time Grammy Award winner set to take part in the ship’s naming festivities at PortMiami on Jan. 9. Brown will also perform before Beachcomber departs on its inaugural sailing.
Brown collaborated with the cruise line on Same Boat, Beachcomber’s live music venue. Margaritaville at Sea is also the presenting sponsor of Zac Brown Band’s current Love & Fear U.S. tour.
On Jan. 28, Brown is scheduled to headline an exclusive concert in Nassau as Beachcomber, Islander and Paradise assemble for the first time as a fleet.
During its inaugural season, Beachcomber will operate four- to eight-night Eastern and Southern Caribbean itineraries from PortMiami. The ship is scheduled to reposition to Galveston in October 2027, beginning a 13-month deployment featuring cruises to Mexico and the Western Caribbean. Beachcomber will then return to PortMiami.
