Zac Brown Band Offers Fenway Crowd Free Margaritaville At Sea Cruises
The promotion covers a cruise for two for each attendee at the sold-out Boston concert, according to Zac Brown.
Zac Brown Band fans at a sold-out concert at Boston’s Fenway Park were offered free Margaritaville At Sea cruises in a surprise announcement made midway through the show.
Brown said every attendee would receive a cruise for two. He described the promotion as the largest giveaway in history and said he had worked personally with Margaritaville At Sea to arrange it. The cruise line sponsors the band’s Love & Fear Tour.
A press release estimated that the cruises offered to more than 37,000 concertgoers had a combined value exceeding $40 million. The release characterized the promotion as the largest audience gift in live entertainment history.
The giveaway will also continue in a smaller form at upcoming Love & Fear Tour dates. According to the press release, four cruises will be awarded at each future Zac Brown Band tour stop.
