Woman alleges stalking and harassment aboard Carnival Conquest
The passenger said a security officer used ship surveillance footage and information about her cabin during a two-week period from Aug. 21 to Sept. 4.

An anonymous woman has alleged that she was stalked and sexually harassed aboard Carnival Conquest during a two-week, adults-only sailing from Aug. 21 through Sept. 4.
According to the woman, a security officer identified as Prasad told her he knew her full name and cabin number, as well as that she was traveling alone. She further alleged that he said he had watched her through casino CCTV cameras, described her clothing and commented on her appearance.
The woman said the officer used surveillance footage and assistance from other security personnel to follow and harass her. She made complaints to employees aboard Carnival Conquest and to Carnival’s Guest Care department, according to the account.
After the passenger raised concerns about encountering the officer again, the ship’s head of security reportedly told her that Prasad had been removed from guest areas and reassigned to crew areas while Carnival investigated.
A Carnival Guest Care security liaison later confirmed that a youth security officer was involved and apologized, according to the woman’s account. The liaison also reportedly offered her a cruise-fare refund of approximately $500 and three therapy sessions valued at $200 each as a goodwill measure.
