Wellington Management Reduces Royal Caribbean Stake

Wellington Management Group LLP reduced its position in Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. by 48.3% during the second quarter, according to its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. After selling 656,471 shares, the firm held 701,928 shares, or about 0.26% of Royal Caribbean. The position was worth $222,883,000 at the end of the most recent quarter.

The report states that institutional investors own 87.53% of Royal Caribbean’s stock. The cruise company separately reported quarterly earnings of $4.21 per share, compared with a consensus estimate of $3.98. Revenue was $4.83 billion, against a consensus estimate of $4.82 billion, and increased 6.5% year over year.

Royal Caribbean set fiscal 2026 earnings-per-share guidance at 17.730-17.870 and third-quarter 2026 guidance at 6.260-6.360. In a separate transaction, Chief Executive Michael W. Bayley sold 12,811 shares at an average price of $315.99, for a total of $4,048,147.89.
