Voyager of the Seas itinerary revised amid Hurricane Simon concerns
Royal Caribbean replaced a Puerto Vallarta call with another day in Cabo San Lucas and offered guests onboard credit and shore excursion savings.

Voyager of the Seas’ itinerary was rearranged because of safety concerns linked to Hurricane Simon. Royal Caribbean informed guests that worsening forecasts meant the ship could not safely visit Puerto Vallarta, prompting a return to Cabo San Lucas after the company considered its options.
Under the revised schedule, the ship was due to make a second Cabo San Lucas visit on October 13, arriving at 7 a.m. and departing at 11 p.m.
Royal Caribbean offered compensation based on stateroom category, with some guests eligible to receive up to $250 in onboard credit. The cruise line also provided a 20% discount on its shore excursions in Cabo San Lucas.
According to Royal Caribbean, prepaid Royal Caribbean International excursions in Puerto Vallarta would be canceled. Refunds would be issued as onboard credit to passengers’ SeaPass accounts. The credits could be spent aboard the ship, while any unused refundable balance would be returned to the card on file within as many as 14 business days after final disembarkation.
