Vision of the Seas reroutes from Bermuda to Saint John
Royal Caribbean revised the ship’s itinerary because of adverse weather, with passengers told they could not disembark during the overnight Canadian port call.

Vision of the Seas was rerouted from Bermuda to Saint John, New Brunswick, because of reported stormy weather. The Royal Caribbean ship had been expected to arrive at King’s Port, Ireland Island.
Royal Caribbean notified guests of the last-minute itinerary change late on Friday. The cruise line reportedly cited adverse weather and concerns about providing passengers with a safe and comfortable journey.
The revised itinerary scheduled Vision of the Seas to arrive in Saint John at 6.30pm on October 19 and depart at 6.30am on October 20, making the visit an overnight call.
Passengers were informed that they would not be permitted to disembark while the ship was in port. According to a Royal Caribbean notification, the restriction was due to poor offshore weather conditions, including strong winds.
