Virgin Voyages reports record revenue day as Northern Europe sailings sell out
Demand for Valiant Lady’s first Scandinavia and Baltics season helped the cruise line surpass its Black Friday 2025 revenue record.

Virgin Voyages said Aug. 13 became the largest revenue day in the company’s history, exceeding its previous record set on Black Friday 2025. The result followed the opening of five summer 2028 itineraries from Amsterdam aboard Valiant Lady.
The newly announced program will mark the cruise line’s first season in Scandinavia and the Baltics. Its itineraries include Scandinavian capitals, Norway’s fjords and a voyage beyond the Arctic Circle. Every available cabin in the Northern Europe season sold out shortly after sales opened.
The 2028 Northern Europe program generated more than half of the day’s total revenue. Virgin Voyages said its August booking pace increased from 20% above the prior year before the record day to more than 45% above it afterward. The 11-night Arctic Circle itinerary was among the strongest performers.
The cruise line is also offering a Summer Season Pass that combines four consecutive Northern Europe voyages aboard Valiant Lady. Separately, the ship added the Ariya venue following its refurbishment, while Virgin Voyages introduced more than 20 new Happenings.
