Virgin Voyages reports record revenue day as 2028 Northern Europe sailings sell out
Demand for Valiant Lady’s first Scandinavia and Baltics season helped the cruise line surpass its previous Black Friday 2025 revenue record.

Virgin Voyages said 13 August became the highest-revenue day in its history, overtaking the company’s previous record set on Black Friday 2025. The cruise line attributed the result to bookings for its inaugural Scandinavia and Baltics season, which will feature five new itineraries sailing from Amsterdam aboard Valiant Lady in summer 2028.
According to the company, all available cabins for the Northern Europe programme sold out within hours of release and contributed more than half of the day’s revenue. The itineraries cover Scandinavian capitals, Norway’s fjords and a voyage beyond the Arctic Circle. The 11-night Arctic Circle sailing was identified as an early standout.
Virgin Voyages also reported that its August booking pace started the day 20% ahead of the previous year and finished more than 45% higher. The company has also reinstated its Summer Season Pass, which combines four Northern Europe voyages on Valiant Lady into one consecutive booking. Separately, the ship has been refreshed with Ariya, described by the line as an Indian-themed sanctuary, while more than 20 new Happenings have been introduced across the fleet.
