Virgin Voyages reopens loyalty status match with Blue Extras
Qualifying members of more than 35 travel loyalty programs can receive benefits for one newly booked sailing.

Virgin Voyages reopened its status-match program Sept. 24 to qualifying members of more than 35 airline, hotel and cruise loyalty programs. Approved travelers receive a single-use Access Key that unlocks Blue Extras on one new sailing.
Applications and new reservations must both be completed by Oct. 31, 2026. Under Virgin’s terms, the Access Key must be entered when the reservation is made and cannot later be added to an existing booking.
Blue Extras provides the qualifying traveler with one complimentary bag of laundry, one specialty coffee each day, an invitation to an onboard cocktail event and dedicated Sailing Club support. Virgin says receiving the benefits through this promotion does not permanently upgrade the traveler to Blue Extras status.
The offer applies to all cabin categories and open-for-sale revenue voyages, while chartered sailings are excluded. Virgin also permits the status match to be combined with certain promotions, including 70% Off 2nd Sailor, Instant Savings and the Pay in Full discount.
