Virgin Voyages Plans May Events and Training for First Mates
First Mate Appreciation Month will combine virtual learning, West Coast roadshows, ship visits and weekly social competitions across North America.

Virgin Voyages will dedicate May to travel advisors in North America through its annual First Mate Appreciation Month. The program includes online education, in-person events, ship visits and activities on the line’s SeaCiety community.
VV Fest will run from May 4 through May 29, offering 16 virtual sessions organized into four weekly chapters: Welcome Aboard, The Virgin Edge, The Long Game and Go for Gold. Sessions will cover brand fundamentals, include live question-and-answer opportunities with senior leadership and conclude with Gold Seacademy certification.
The Brilliant Lady West Coast Roadshow will bring Virgin Voyages events to San Diego, Bellevue, Portland and Tacoma, reaching more than 600 First Mates across California, Washington and Oregon.
Throughout May, more than 500 First Mates will also visit Resilient Lady and Brilliant Lady during day events in Miami and Seattle. Weekly Share and Win competitions will reward advisors who distribute voyage offers to their audiences. A SeaCiety Live broadcast featuring CEO Nirmal Saverimuttu and Chief Brand Experience, Marketing and Momentum Officer Nathan Rosenberg will open the month and begin VV Fest.
