Virgin Voyages launches unified Groups program for First Mates
The structure combines previous group programs and introduces consistent benefits for bookings of eight to 75 cabins.

Virgin Voyages has introduced a unified Groups program for First Mates, bringing its previous group offerings into a single structure. The program is designed to give travel advisors greater flexibility and control when managing group business.
Small Groups cover eight to 16 cabins and include a 120-day recall period. Large Groups apply to 17 to 75 cabins and have a 150-day recall period. Advisors can hold as many as 75 cabins without paying a deposit.
Fares and promotions are locked when the group is created, protecting the agreed pricing from subsequent increases. Each cabin also receives a Group Bar Tab based on voyage length: $50 for sailings of five nights or fewer, $100 for voyages lasting six to nine nights, and $200 for itineraries of at least 10 nights.
For earnings, advisors can choose between one free cabin for every 16 cabins sold or a 2% bonus commission.
