Victory Casino Cruises Out of Service as Shutdown Report Emerges
The Florida casino cruise operator cited extended maintenance, while social media posts attributed to employees said staff had been furloughed.

A published report said Victory Casino Cruises had shut down, although the company described its vessel as temporarily out of service for maintenance.
In a statement signed by Captain Tim, Victory Casino Cruises said additional required work had prolonged the maintenance period. The company did not describe the work, identify where the vessel was being serviced or provide an expected date for its return.
Separately, social media posts attributed to Victory employees said company staff had been furloughed. Victory Casino Cruises did not provide further details about staffing in the supplied statement.
The operator had sailed from Port Canaveral, Florida, since 2011. Its casino cruise offered 40,000 square feet across four decks, with more than 600 slot machines and 27 live table games. The vessel had operated Tuesdays through Sundays and did not sail on Mondays.
