Valiant Lady sailing pairs Mediterranean calls with steady onboard experience
Writer Justine Lee reported smooth sailing and organized returns to the ship during a voyage visiting destinations including the Amalfi Coast and Ibiza.

Writer Justine Lee said she did not feel Valiant Lady move during her trip and slept better aboard the ship than on any previous journey. Her itinerary included visits to the Amalfi Coast, Nice, Monaco and Ibiza.
Lee also described several measures designed to guide passengers back aboard during port calls. She said shuttle buses, checkpoint signs and crew members wearing branded clothing helped direct travelers toward the gangway, while the Virgin Voyages app provided real-time boarding updates.
Virgin Voyages describes Valiant Lady as a 278-metre ship spanning 17 decks, with gross tonnage of 110,000 GT and capacity for as many as 2,770 passengers. The company says its standard offering covers dining at more than 20 eateries, Wi-Fi, soft drinks and water, fitness classes and entertainment.
Fincantieri built Valiant Lady at its Sestri Ponente shipyard and delivered the vessel to Virgin Voyages on July 1, 2021. According to a company press release, the ship began its maiden voyage from Portsmouth on March 18, 2022.
