TUI River Cruises to add Seine sailings in 2028
TUI Elara will operate four-, seven- and 10-night itineraries as the line expands its European river program.

TUI River Cruises plans to begin Seine sailings in March 2028 aboard TUI Elara, which is scheduled to launch in March 2027. The company said the river is a favorite among its passengers.
The 138-guest ship will sail through Paris, passing landmarks including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Musée d’Orsay. Itineraries will also call at Vernon, Rouen and Le Havre. The overall fare will include Air France flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle from a selection of UK airports.
TUI Elara will have 70 cabins, including the cruise line’s first French Balcony Junior Suites.
TUI has also announced two next-generation new-build ships. TUI Zora is scheduled to begin Rhine sailings in May 2028, while TUI Velara will focus on the Danube from August 2028. Each vessel will have 94 cabins and capacity for 188 guests.
Elsewhere in the summer 2028 program, TUI Luzia will operate on the Douro. Dedicated solo sailings will be offered aboard TUI Maya on the Danube and TUI Skyla on the Rhine, while TUI Aria, described by the company as its fleet’s largest ship, will sail on the Danube.
