Trent Hitchcock Named Opening Cruise Director of Disney Believe
The longtime Disney Cruise Line veteran will serve aboard the new ship during its maiden voyage and inaugural season.
Disney has appointed Trent Hitchcock as the opening cruise director of Disney Believe, including the ship’s maiden voyage and inaugural season. The company expects the vessel to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet in late 2027.
Hitchcock has worked with Disney Cruise Line for nearly 20 years. He has spent 10 of those years as a cruise director, according to the company. In his role aboard Disney Believe, Hitchcock will oversee an entertainment operation comprising more than 200 crew members.
Disney Believe is under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Disney has not provided further details in the announcement about the ship’s maiden voyage or inaugural-season plans.
