Star of the Seas and Celebrity Beyond call at Port Zante
The two ships were scheduled to bring thousands of cruise passengers to St. Kitts on Thursday, August 20.
Port Zante in St. Kitts was welcoming Star of the Seas and Celebrity Beyond on Thursday, August 20, with both vessels scheduled to spend much of the day in Basseterre.
According to the port’s cruise schedule, Celebrity Beyond was due to berth from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Star of the Seas was expected to remain in port from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Star of the Seas was sailing a seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary that departed Port Canaveral, Florida, on August 16. Its scheduled calls included Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, Charlotte Amalie in St. Thomas and Basseterre before the ship’s return to Florida.
Celebrity Beyond was operating an eight-day round-trip voyage from Miami. The itinerary included visits to the Dominican Republic and Tortola before the ship’s arrival in St. Kitts.
The two calls followed a visit by Rhapsody of the Seas on Wednesday, August 19. That ship was also scheduled to return to St. Kitts on September 2, September 16 and September 30.
