St. Vincent and the Grenadines schedules 350-plus cruise calls
Tourism authorities are targeting 500,000 annual cruise passengers within three to five years.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines is scheduled to receive more than 350 cruise ship calls across its island chain during the 2026-2027 season, according to the latest schedule information.
Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Dr. Kishore Shallow said the destination has grown from a historical baseline of about 250 cruise vessels to more than 350 calls, with the total potentially reaching 362 or more. He also cited eight inaugural visits by new cruise ships. Schedule details show seven of those inaugural calls will dock at Port Kingstown, beginning with the M.V. Renaissance in December.
The latest outlook follows a lower-than-anticipated result for the 2025-2026 season. Earlier figures projected 376 calls, but information from MPOC put the actual total at 231 after several ships cancelled.
Tourism authorities aim to increase average annual cruise passenger arrivals from about 250,000 to 500,000 within three to five years. Global Ports Holding’s entry as manager of the cruise ship port is also expected to support higher arrival numbers in the coming years.
