The program includes calls from 13 cruise lines, five maiden visits and Wallaroo’s first cruise ship arrival since 2019.

South Australia’s 2026-27 cruise season has opened with 54 cruise and expedition vessel visits scheduled statewide through April 2027. The program comprises 40 cruise ship calls and 14 expedition vessel visits involving 13 cruise lines.
Crown Princess launched the season at Outer Harbor while sailing a 28-day voyage around Australia. Princess Cruises’ ship arrived with 3,080 passengers and 1,200 crew members.
Five maiden calls are planned for Adelaide and Port Lincoln. Seabourn Quest, Carnival Adventure and Azamara Quest are among the vessels due to make their first visits.
Celebrity Edge is expected to be one of the season’s largest arrivals, carrying more than 3,100 passengers and approximately 1,400 crew. In March, Coral Princess is scheduled to bring more than 2,000 international passengers to Adelaide during a 114-night round-trip sailing from the United States.
Also in March, Wallaroo is preparing to welcome Seabourn Quest, marking the Yorke Peninsula town’s first cruise ship visit since 2019. Reported industry figures estimate that cruise tourism contributed $198 million to South Australia in 2024-25 and supported about 613 jobs.
