Singapore Cruise Centre opens new HarbourFront terminal
The purpose-built facility entered full operations in July and has processed more than 720,000 ferry and cruise passengers.

The new Singapore Cruise Centre HarbourFront terminal officially opened on September 22, 2026, completing a 24-month development and testing period. The facility was designed to support regional ferry and cruise travel.
Full operations began on July 15, 2026. According to Singapore Cruise Centre, the terminal had handled more than 720,000 ferry and cruise passengers by its official opening.
The facility has a redesigned layout, expanded self-service options and automated systems intended to improve passenger and baggage processing. Singapore Cruise Centre also worked with travel technology company Sqiva to develop an integrated departure control system for ferry and cruise passengers.
Cruise-specific amenities include kerbside baggage drop-off, 12 coach bays for shore-excursion transfers and a dedicated VIP lounge for use during vessel calls. The terminal handles more than 100 cruise calls each year, spanning homeported operations, international luxury cruises and expedition sailings.
More than 20 retail and service tenants are planned for the terminal’s departure and arrival areas.
