Seven Seas Mariner tour highlights all-suite design and six dining venues
The 700-guest ultra-luxury ship pairs a reported 1-to-1.6 staff-to-passenger ratio with specialty restaurants and expansive shared spaces.

A private tour of Seven Seas Mariner offered a first look at an ultra-luxury cruise ship, with the vessel’s low passenger capacity, suite accommodations and dining options among the features highlighted.
The ship accommodates 700 guests and provides close to 70 gross tons of space per passenger, according to the tour report. Its multiple specialty dining venues and spacious social areas are available to all passengers.
The report describes Seven Seas Mariner as the world’s first vessel to offer exclusively suites with balconies. Its staterooms underwent a comprehensive multimillion-dollar refresh in the year before the visit. Concierge suites and higher accommodation categories include Dyson hairdryers, binoculars and minibars personalized to guests’ preferences and requirements.
Seven Seas Mariner has six restaurants. Among them are Compass Rose, serving European cuisine on Versace tableware; Chartreuse, featuring modern French dishes and Parisian decor; and Prime 7, an upscale interpretation of an American steakhouse. The report also places the ship’s staff-to-guest ratio at one crew member for every 1.6 passengers.
