SeaDream Yacht Club plans SeaDream III for 2029 delivery
The 16,500-gross-ton small ship is scheduled to debut with a maiden voyage from Hong Kong before a christening in Tokyo.

SeaDream Yacht Club has announced plans to build SeaDream III at China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding, with delivery expected in 2029. According to the cruise line, the vessel would be its first newly built ship in 25 years and the largest in its fleet.
The planned 151-meter vessel is designed to accommodate approximately 230 passengers and 200 crew members. SeaDream said the ship remains in the engineering design phase and will be constructed in collaboration with European engineering and technology suppliers while maintaining the brand’s yacht-like experience and personalized service.
Plans call for several accommodation categories across five stateroom decks, including suites and connecting rooms. Four decks would offer staterooms with private balconies, while 20 staterooms are planned without balconies.
Other proposed features include a spacious upper deck, a separate pool deck, indoor and outdoor dining areas, three water-sports docks, and expanded spa, fitness and wellness facilities.
SeaDream III is scheduled to begin its maiden voyage from Hong Kong on July 10, 2029. A christening ceremony is planned in Tokyo on July 21, 2029.
