SeaDream Yacht Club Plans Larger Third Ship for 2029
SeaDream III is set to debut from Hong Kong before operating an inaugural global program and the line’s first world cruise.

SeaDream Yacht Club plans to expand its two-ship fleet with a larger vessel in 2029. The company said reservations were opening for SeaDream III’s maiden voyage, scheduled to depart Hong Kong on July 10, 2029.
According to SeaDream, the ship’s inaugural deployment will include destinations across Asia, Australia and New Zealand, India, Arabia, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. It is then planned to cross the Atlantic in fall 2030 for sailings in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean. SeaDream III is also scheduled to begin the cruise line’s first world cruise on January 5, 2031, with the 180-day itinerary ending in London.
SeaDream said the vessel is in the engineering phase and will be constructed by China Merchants Cruise Shipbuilding in coordination with European engineering and technical suppliers. Current plans specify a 16,500-gross-ton ship measuring 151 meters, with accommodations for 230 passengers and approximately 200 crew members.
Planned amenities include expansive upper decks, a dedicated pool deck, indoor and outdoor dining areas, three watersports marinas, and expanded spa, fitness and wellness facilities. Twenty staterooms are planned without balconies.
