SeaDream III to join SeaDream Yacht Club fleet in 2029
The roughly 200-guest yacht is scheduled to begin sailing in Asia before undertaking a 180-night world cruise in 2031.
SeaDream Yacht Club has announced that SeaDream III will enter service in 2029, becoming the first newly built ship in the cruise line’s 25-year history. Reservations have opened for the yacht, which is expected to visit six continents, 73 countries and 364 ports during its first 24 months of operations.
The company plans for SeaDream III to accommodate about 200 guests, supported by nearly the same number of crew members. Guest accommodations will extend across five decks and include larger suites and staterooms. Other planned features include a dedicated pool deck, indoor and outdoor dining venues, and three watersport marinas.
SeaDream III’s inaugural season is scheduled to begin in Asia with a July 10, 2029, departure from Hong Kong. The yacht is then due to be christened in Tokyo 11 days later. Four planned 14-night round-trip Tokyo itineraries will combine calls in northern and western Japan with South Korea. A subsequent 15-night sailing from Tokyo to Hong Kong will travel through Japan’s southern islands.
The yacht is also scheduled to leave West Palm Beach on Jan. 5, 2031, for a 180-night world cruise ending in London.
