Seabourn Pursuit pairs polar exploration with all-suite luxury

The 264-guest expedition ship offers included dining and selected activities, alongside paid kayaking, helicopter and photography options.

Seabourn Pursuit, the cruise line’s second purpose-built luxury expedition ship, has been in service since August 12, 2023. Built to PC6 Polar Class standards, the vessel measures 557 feet long and 78 feet wide and accommodates up to 264 guests.

According to Seabourn, the ship carries 24 Zodiacs and has a 19-person expedition team. Its program includes snorkelling, guided walks, hikes and cultural tours. Kayaking, a helicopter flight over the Kimberley to Mitchell Falls and the Image Masters photography masterclass are available for additional fees.

All suites face the ocean, and nearly all feature private verandas. Seabourn says every dining venue is complimentary and nearly all provide open seating. Premium spirits and fine wines are also included in the cruise fare.

The vessel does not have a dedicated children’s club. Guests must be at least six to join excursions, with participation ultimately determined by the captain and expedition leader based on weather, sea conditions and the difficulty of disembarkation.

For solo guests, Seabourn regularly promotes reduced single supplements beginning at 50% above the current fare on selected voyages and suite categories. Further reductions are available to Seabourn Club Diamond Elite members on repeat bookings.
