San Diego plans 183 cruise calls for 2026–2027 season
The port expects more than 700,000 cruise passengers during its largest season in over 15 years.

The Port of San Diego has begun its largest cruise season in more than 15 years, with 183 calls scheduled for the 2026–2027 programme. That total compares with 109 calls in 2025–2026 and 75 calls in 2024–2025.
The season opened with Princess Cruises’ Ruby Princess arriving at the B Street Pier Cruise Terminal for a seven-day Classic California Coast itinerary. The port expects more than 700,000 cruise passengers over the season.
Holland America and Norwegian are continuing homeport operations in San Diego. Royal Caribbean is introducing new homeport service, while Disney Cruise Line is expanding its local programme by adding Disney Magic as a second vessel.
Disney’s expansion is covered by an agreement with the port extending through at least 2031. The port expects the arrangement to approximately double Disney cruise departures from San Diego, with more than 1 million Disney passengers anticipated over the agreement’s term.
