The Port of San Diego expects to host 183 voyages during the 2026–27 cruise season, an increase of 74 from the previous season. More than 700,000 passenger movements are projected across the schedule.
Royal Caribbean is set to introduce homeport operations in San Diego. Disney Cruise Line is also expanding its presence by adding Disney Magic alongside its existing program, giving the port a second Disney ship and increasing family-focused cruise capacity from Southern California.
Ruby Princess opened the season at B Street Pier on September 14. The ship departed on a seven-day Classic California Coast itinerary, beginning a schedule that will continue through the 2026–27 season.
