Saga Cruises to debut dance show Eras aboard Spirit of Discovery
Michelle Tsiakkas and Vincent Simone will lead the first public performance during a 14-night Canary Islands sailing in December.
Professional dancers Michelle Tsiakkas and Vincent Simone are scheduled to stage the first public performance of Eras aboard Saga Cruises’ Spirit of Discovery. Victoria Martin and Simone Arena, dance partners from Dancing With The Stars, will join them for the production.
The show will explore the history and highlights of Latin and ballroom dance across different periods. It will also feature insights into Tsiakkas and Simone’s careers, including their time on Strictly Come Dancing.
Eras will be presented during the 14-night Best of the Canaries cruise, departing Dec. 6. The itinerary includes Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Madeira and Lisbon.
Guests will also be able to take salsa classes with Tsiakkas and attend a festive foxtrot workshop led by Simone for participants of all abilities. Other scheduled onboard programming includes talks from horticulturist and television presenter David Domoney and astronomer Tom Boles, along with tastings hosted by chocolatier Mark Tilling.
Saga Cruises lists fares for the sailing from £2,999 per person.
