Rye and Bean Has an Unadvertised 15-Shot Challenge
The off-menu challenge carries no completion prize, and the lineup of shots can vary.
Rye and Bean offers a 15-shot challenge that is not advertised on its menu. Ashley Brozyna tried the challenge during a recent Star of the Seas cruise.
Brozyna said participants were responsible for telling bartenders which numbered shot they needed next because the bartenders did not track their progress. The lineup is reportedly not fixed, with another guest documenting a different selection in early 2026.
There is no prize for completing the challenge. According to the report, the alcoholic shots are covered for guests with a Royal Caribbean drink package. Those without a package can participate but must pay for each shot individually.
Justin Scott claimed each shot costs about $15, an amount he said likely includes the automatic service charge.
