Royal Caribbean Updates Perfect Day CocoCay Name
The revised branding drops one word from the private island destination name without changing its amenities or guest experience.

Royal Caribbean has changed the name of its private island destination from Perfect Day at CocoCay to Perfect Day CocoCay, according to the report. Although the company has updated its references to the destination, it had not formally announced the change at the time of the report.
The branding revision does not affect the island itself. Its amenities, features and overall guest experience remain unchanged, the report said.
CocoCay continues to feature in Royal Caribbean itineraries. According to the report, 20 of the cruise line’s ships are offering sailings to the destination through April 2028. They include Utopia of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Star of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas.
Royal Caribbean also plans to open Royal Beach Club Lelepa in 2027, according to the report. The planned Perfect Day Mexico project, meanwhile, has been stalled indefinitely amid environmental concerns involving the Mexican government. The report said Royal Caribbean does not plan to abandon the project.
