Royal Caribbean Tests Targeted Cabana Bids and Visa Bonus Offer
Select guests may bid on premium spaces, while some President’s Cruise passengers can seek additional card points.
Royal Caribbean is allowing certain cruisers who receive a targeted email to submit bids for cabanas or casitas. Successful bids could give participating guests access to the sought-after add-ons at a price below their normal cost, although the opportunity is limited to selected recipients.
A separate targeted Royal Caribbean Visa credit-card offer is available to some passengers already booked on the President’s Cruise. The promotion provides those eligible travelers with an opportunity to receive more bonus points than under the usual offer.
According to the report, applicants who are approved can convert the resulting credit-card bonus points into onboard credit. The bid invitation and the Visa promotion are both targeted rather than broadly available, with eligibility tied to receiving the relevant offer or being among the qualifying booked passengers.
