Royal Caribbean’s weekend cruise lineup generally consists of three-night voyages, although some itineraries are as short as two nights. Utopia of the Seas operates three-night weekend sailings from Port Canaveral, Florida, visiting Nassau and Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas.
Other short-cruise options include Navigator of the Seas, Spectrum of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas, with destinations including Asia and the Mexican Riviera. In 2027, Freedom of the Seas is scheduled to operate a limited number of two- and three-night cruises from Southampton, England, to Paris via Le Havre and Bruges via Zeebrugge.
Most weekend sailings depart from Port Canaveral, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles, according to the report. It estimates that inside cabins for two adults generally cost $550 to $1,250, while balcony accommodations typically range from $800 to $2,000. The estimates vary according to the sailing date, ship, demand and booking time.
Among cruises reviewed for the report, a three-night Brilliance of the Seas sailing started at $393 per person for an inside cabin, equal to about $131 per person per day. A seven-night Independence of the Seas voyage was priced at roughly $1,260 for two adults in an interior cabin, or approximately $90 per person per day.
