Royal Caribbean shares extend decline to a second day
The stock closed lower Monday but outperformed Walt Disney and Carnival during the session.

Royal Caribbean Group shares fell 1.05% to $301.79 on Monday, marking a second consecutive day of losses. The decline came during a broadly weaker trading session, as the S&P 500 dropped 0.52% to 7,745.06 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average decreased 0.51% to 53,459.78.
Although Royal Caribbean shares declined, they performed better than shares of Walt Disney and Carnival. Walt Disney stock fell 3.14% to $103.50, while Carnival shares declined 1.39% to $27.73 on Monday.
Royal Caribbean closed 17.66% below its 52-week high of $366.50. The company’s shares recorded trading volume of 1.6 million, compared with a 50-day average of 2.4 million. Monday’s volume was 818,139 shares below that average.
