Royal Caribbean revises Navigator of the Seas itinerary as Hurricane Polo nears western Mexico
The ship will skip Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, while adding calls at Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta.

Royal Caribbean has changed Navigator of the Seas’ Mexico itinerary because of weather conditions associated with Hurricane Polo near the country’s western coast.
The revised schedule replaces the planned Ensenada visit with a day at sea. Mazatlán will substitute for Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta has been added as another port of call.
Royal Caribbean said prepaid company shore excursions for the canceled ports will be refunded as onboard credit. Any credit left unused at the end of the voyage will be returned after the cruise.
The National Hurricane Center classified Polo as a Category 5 hurricane, with maximum sustained winds of 160 mph, or approximately 260 km/h. The agency said dangerous surf, heavy rainfall, flash flooding and landslides remained possible along portions of Mexico’s Pacific coast, even where the hurricane’s center stayed offshore.
