Royal Caribbean Plans Japan Cherry Blossom Cruises for 2028
Voyager of the Seas will sail a collection of Japan-focused itineraries from late February through April 2028.

Royal Caribbean has announced spring 2028 cruises aboard Voyager of the Seas designed around Japan’s cherry blossom season. The sailings are scheduled from late February through April, with selected departures timed to align with peak blossom periods in different regions of the country.
The program includes a 10-night voyage from Hong Kong to Tokyo, calling at Nagasaki and Kagoshima before an overnight visit to Kobe and a stop in Osaka. Three additional roundtrip itineraries from Tokyo will feature varying combinations of destinations in Japan and South Korea.
Voyager of the Seas is also scheduled to operate a 16-night Pacific crossing from Tokyo to Seattle. That itinerary will travel north to Sapporo via Muroran and include an overnight stay there.
The Japan cruises form part of the ship’s wider 2027-2028 Asia-Pacific season. According to Royal Caribbean, the regional program will include voyages ranging from two to 16 nights, with departures available from Brisbane, Sydney, Singapore and Hong Kong.
