Royal Caribbean outlines ship and destination growth through 2032
The company’s plans include Icon- and Discovery-class vessels, beach clubs, new entertainment and a multilevel family suite.

Royal Caribbean representatives said the company has a development and growth schedule extending through 2032, with additional ships and products intended to broaden its offerings for different generations of travelers.
Legend of the Seas is scheduled to join the Icon class, followed by Hero of the Seas and a new Discovery-class generation. The company plans two Discovery-class ships, with projected deliveries in 2029 and 2032.
According to Royal Caribbean, the developing Discovery class is intended to enable more immersive and flexible experiences while opening opportunities for new itineraries. Possible offerings include tours featuring Panama Canal transits. The company is also developing beach clubs at Lelepa and Paradise Island to extend the guest experience beyond its ships.
Accommodation plans include the three-level Family Tree Suite, designed for families and multigenerational groups to share a unit while retaining separate spaces. Entertainment under development includes a Chocolate Factory-related show aboard Legend of the Seas, while Star of the Seas presents Back to the Future. Hero of the Seas is also expected to receive new shows and productions.
A future offering called Celebrity River Cruises is planned to join later editions of the brands’ joint regional presence.
