Royal Caribbean Offers Rebooking Options for September 2026 Utopia Sailing

Some guests booked on Utopia of the Seas were invited to switch to another three-night departure with a package of incentives.

Royal Caribbean emailed some passengers booked on Utopia of the Seas’ September 4, 2026, departure from Port Canaveral, Florida, to ask whether they and their travel parties had flexible plans. The cruise line said accepting the offer was optional.

The reported package included a full refund excluding taxes and amenities, a complimentary transfer to a replacement sailing, an upgrade to an Ocean View Balcony stateroom and reimbursement for non-refundable hotel and flight costs. Royal Caribbean offered alternative three-night Utopia of the Seas cruises departing September 11, September 18 or October 2. Each itinerary includes Perfect Day at CocoCay and Nassau, Bahamas.

Separately, a Harmony of the Seas traveler said they received an offer to move from a sailing departing the following day to Utopia’s September 4 cruise. Voyager of the Seas passengers were also reportedly asked to give up places on a September 4 Alaska voyage from Seattle in return for similar incentives. The company has also canceled some 2027 West Coast sailings involving Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas as part of an Asia-Pacific expansion announced August 12.
