Royal Caribbean has selected retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Lori J. Robinson as godmother of Legend of the Seas. Robinson is scheduled to serve in the role during a naming ceremony on Nov. 11.
Legend of the Seas is due to arrive in Fort Lauderdale in November after spending its debut summer in Europe. From the Florida port, the ship will operate six-night Western Caribbean cruises and eight-night Southern Caribbean voyages. The longer itineraries will include calls at Oranjestad, Aruba, and Willemstad, Curaçao.
Every Legend of the Seas sailing from Fort Lauderdale will also visit Royal Caribbean’s Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas. The ship features 28 dining options and seven pools. Its announced entertainment lineup includes America’s Got Talent LIVE and a production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
