Royal Caribbean keeps loyalty perks brand-specific under status match
Members can receive equivalent status across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, but each line will retain its own benefits.

Royal Caribbean International Assistant Vice President Nancy Ramos said loyalty benefits will remain distinct for each cruise brand, even as members gain access to equivalent status across Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea.
Under the status-match arrangement, travelers can use the benefits attached to their corresponding tier when sailing with each brand. Ramos said members may also transfer points, while the specific benefits available will continue to be determined at the individual brand level.
Points Choice provides another option by allowing cruisers to designate which loyalty program receives the points they earn. Separately, the new Royal Caribbean credit card awards points on purchases that can be redeemed for onboard credit with any of the three cruise lines.
Royal Caribbean International President and CEO Michael Bayley also confirmed that the company has considered creating an additional Crown & Anchor Society tier between Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club. No decision or timetable for a possible new tier was provided.
