Royal Caribbean Group expands fleets, destinations and loyalty options
New ships, river vessels and private destinations are broadening the cruise group’s portfolio across multiple brands.

Royal Caribbean Group is expanding its cruise offerings with fleet additions, a new river business and destination developments. The company operates Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea, and holds a stake in a joint venture that operates TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises.
Recent fleet additions include Royal Caribbean International’s Star of the Seas and Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Xcel. A company report also says Legend of the Seas entered service during the current year. The group’s wider operations cover major cruise regions including the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Asia and Australia.
Celebrity Cruises is moving into river cruising through Celebrity River Cruises. The business includes Celebrity Compass and Celebrity Seeker, which are designed for European river itineraries, including journeys on the Rhine and Danube.
The group has also opened Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas and identified additional destination projects in Cozumel and Santorini. Separately, its Points Choice program allows eligible loyalty members to use points across participating Royal Caribbean Group brands, linking benefits among Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Silversea.
