Royal Caribbean Cancels Several 2027 U.S. Sailings
The changes affect Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas voyages from Los Angeles to ports in Mexico.
Royal Caribbean has canceled several U.S. cruises scheduled for 2027 aboard Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas. The affected itineraries had been due to depart from Los Angeles and visit destinations in Mexico.
Under the company’s revised deployment plans, Navigator of the Seas is scheduled to operate in Asia from October 2026 through October 2027. Its new program includes Southeast Asian cruises, potentially ranging from two to five nights and visiting destinations in Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand. A 12-night sailing from Tokyo to Singapore is also among the itineraries, and bookings have opened. Ovation of the Seas is set to move to Australia for the 2027-28 season, with Brisbane departures beginning in November 2027.
Royal Caribbean previously canceled more than 20 Freedom of the Seas cruises and reassigned that ship to Southampton, England, for the 2027 season. Customers affected by the latest cancellations have been offered the choice of moving to another Royal Caribbean cruise or ship, or receiving a full refund that includes prepaid extras.
