Royal Caribbean cancels select 2027 Los Angeles sailings

Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas will shift to Singapore and Brisbane deployments.

Royal Caribbean is canceling several 2027 voyages from Los Angeles aboard Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas as the ships are redeployed to Asia and the Pacific. The affected cruises had been scheduled to visit the Mexican Riviera.

Navigator of the Seas is set to operate from Singapore for most of 2027, primarily offering two- to five-night itineraries to Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand through October. The ship is then scheduled to return to Los Angeles and resume Mexican Riviera sailings.

Ovation of the Seas will relocate to Brisbane for the 2027-2028 season. Beginning in November 2027, the ship is scheduled to operate three- to eight-night cruises to Queensland and the South Pacific.

Affected passengers may transfer to a comparable voyage in a similar cabin at the prevailing price without a change fee. They remain responsible for any differences in cruise fares, taxes, fees or gratuities. Guests booked on select Navigator of the Seas departures may also qualify for onboard credit when switching to an alternative sailing.

Passengers who do not rebook may instead request a full refund, including any deposit previously designated as non-refundable.
