Royal Caribbean app promotions may cut pre-cruise costs

Confirmed Royal Caribbean guests may be able to reduce several cruise-related expenses by monitoring promotions in the cruise line’s app, according to the report. Travelers can sign up for text alerts about discounts on the company’s three beverage-package options, with reported savings ranging from 15% to 50%.
Specialty-dining packages may receive additional promotional discounts of 20% to 50% through the app. The report also says guests purchasing internet access before sailing could find offers reducing the price by 15% to 35%.
Airport transportation may be another source of savings. Royal Caribbean guest transfers booked directly through the app can reportedly be discounted by about 35% to 50%.
For Royal Caribbean Beach Club Paradise Island, booking early may provide savings of as much as 35% compared with the onboard rate for the same excursion. Early reservations may also help guests secure space, according to the report. Promotion availability and discount levels may vary among the listed purchases.
