Royal Caribbean Announces Dividend as 2029 Projections Outline Growth
The payout and ongoing share buybacks accompany investment in ships and destinations, while projections anticipate higher revenue and earnings.

Royal Caribbean Group announced a total dividend of US$1.50 per share with an ex-dividend date of September 17, 2026, according to the report. The dividend continues a quarterly payout pattern in place since 2024 and is supported by an estimated payout ratio of approximately 31%.
The report says Royal Caribbean is also continuing share buybacks while investing in new ships and destinations.
Royal Caribbean Cruises’ narrative projects revenue of US$24.3 billion and earnings of US$6.4 billion by 2029. Achieving those figures would require annual revenue growth of 9.1% and an earnings increase of US$2.0 billion from US$4.4 billion.
Some optimistic analysts cited in the report expected revenue of approximately US$24.6 billion and earnings near US$6.7 billion. Their forecasts were based on stronger cruise demand despite higher regulatory and cost pressures.
