Riverside plans cycling-focused Danube cruise for 2027
The Riverside Mozart itinerary will offer two shorter segments or a combined 14-night voyage with more than 650 kilometers of cycling.

Riverside Luxury Cruises is preparing a cycling-focused Danube voyage aboard Riverside Mozart, scheduled to begin July 22, 2027. Guests may book a Passau-to-Vienna journey, a Vienna-to-Budapest segment or the complete 14-night sailing combining both routes.
According to the cruise line’s plans, the full Danube Bike Cruise will include more than 650 kilometers, or 400 miles, of cycling. Riders may bring their own bicycles, which can be kept in dedicated storage aboard the ship, or use an e-bike from the vessel’s stock for the duration of the voyage.
Riverside also plans to provide an expert cycling guide and a safety vehicle for each ride. If a participant decides not to continue, the vehicle can transport both the rider and bicycle back to Riverside Mozart.
Fares for the complete 14-night itinerary start at €8,768, listed as approximately $10,200, per person. Riverside Luxury Cruises currently operates three ships: Riverside Mozart, Riverside Ravel and Riverside Debussy.
