Regal Princess sets margarita sales record in Cozumel
Passengers purchased 3,410 signature cocktails over eight hours during a Western Caribbean cruise.

Regal Princess passengers bought 3,410 margaritas during an eight-hour period on February 17, establishing a Guinness World Record for the most margaritas sold within that span. The ship was docked in Cozumel when the record was set.
The milestone occurred during a seven-day Western Caribbean sailing from Galveston, Texas. According to the official adjudicator, the previous record was 2,728 margaritas.
The drink used for the attempt was Princess Cruises’ signature 24K Margarita, made with Pantalones Organic Tequila. The cocktail is part of a partnership with the tequila brand that Princess Cruises introduced across its fleet in October 2024.
Princess Cruises also reported selling 1,038,197 of the same cocktail between January 1, 2025, and January 7, 2026.
