Passengers purchased 3,410 cocktails over eight hours during a Western Caribbean cruise.

Passengers aboard Regal Princess bought 3,410 margaritas during an eight-hour period on February 17, setting a Guinness World Record for the most margaritas sold within that span. The ship was docked in Cozumel when the record was established.
According to the official adjudicator, the previous record was 2,728 margaritas. The cocktail served during the attempt was the 24K Margarita, a signature Princess Cruises beverage made with Pantalones Organic Tequila.
The event took place during a seven-day Western Caribbean voyage departing from Galveston, Texas. Princess Cruises said it sold 1,038,197 of the same cocktail between January 1, 2025, and January 7, 2026. The cruise line introduced its fleetwide partnership with Pantalones Organic Tequila in October 2024.
