Princess revises overseas package purchases for Australians
Princess Plus and Princess Premier will include gratuities for Australian passengers on ships operating in US dollars.

Princess Cruises has changed how Australians purchase its Princess Plus and Princess Premier bundles when sailing overseas. The packages combine drinks, WiFi and other benefits.
Under the revised arrangement, Australians will pay an additional AUD$10 per day, with gratuities included. Princess Plus will cost AUD$89 and Princess Premier AUD$139 for Australians sailing aboard overseas ships that operate in US dollars. The listed Australian domestic prices are AUD$79 for Plus and AUD$139 for Premier.
The report says Australian passengers previously paid their package price plus daily gratuities of US$18 to US$20, depending on suite category. On overseas sailings, passengers with either package cannot remove gratuities because they are already incorporated into the bundle.
Guests who do not purchase Princess Plus or Princess Premier will continue paying gratuities separately. The report also estimates that American passengers will pay the equivalent of AUD$100 for Princess Plus and AUD$150 for Princess Premier, about AUD$10 more per day than Australians for the same inclusions.
