Princess Offers Incentives to Change Emerald Princess Alaska Booking
Select guests on the September 1, 2026 voyage may volunteer for a refund, future cruise credit and travel-expense reimbursement.
Princess Cruises has offered select guests booked on Emerald Princess’s September 1, 2026 Alaska sailing incentives to change their plans voluntarily. Passengers are not required to accept and may keep their existing reservations.
Under the offer, participating guests would receive a full refund for the current cruise and a future cruise credit equal to 100% of the base fare paid, excluding taxes and fees. Princess said the credit would remain valid for two years and could be used for qualifying cruises departing during that period, as well as vacation protection, hotels or flights booked through the cruise line.
Guests accepted into the program could also be reimbursed for up to $800 per person in documented travel expenses. Princess said availability was limited, participation would be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, and the offer could be withdrawn at any time. Responding would not guarantee acceptance.
The seven-night roundtrip Inside Passage itinerary from Vancouver is scheduled to visit Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, with scenic cruising in Glacier Bay National Park, before returning September 8. The sailing was listed as sold out, although Princess’s message to guests did not explicitly describe it as oversold.
